A cosy resort made with heart

There is a beautiful history behind ThaiLife Wellness & Meditation Resort . Once a farm, ThaiLife began as a small boutique resort by owners Maneerat and John.

They built the resort themselves and continue to manage the resort to this day, taking care of engineering to interior design to growing vegetables in the organic farm.

At ThaiLife, we always want our guests to enter into a world of authentic Thai living. The true character of Thailand is reflected through our luscious green grass, free-roaming buffaloes and tropical coconut trees. 

At ThaiLife Wellness & Meditation Resort, we aim to provide you with a unique holiday experience, right in the heart of Southern Thailand.

A look back at the past

Did you know that ThaiLife property started off as a farm that grew cashew nut trees? It was a happy farm life until the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami struck the area.

Once the great wave came, most of the cashew trees didn’t survive the impact of the water. The farm was discontinued as the trees no longer produced cashew fruit.

Since so many families and locals were left without jobs, Maneerat and John thought that building a resort would provide the community with many opportunities for employment.

Passing the care forward

The family were always taught to love and sustain the nature and culture of their country, Thailand, and to pass that love and care forward to their community.
